Pick Container

When your system uses containersA container is a movable location that can hold smaller containers. It resides in a site-location. It has a Container Type that governs its size and whether the container may contain smaller containers. Items may reside in a container., the Picking form includes a Pick Container option. Use this option to pick the container. All items in the container must be used to fulfill the picking order. Upon transaction completion, the container is picked in full and then deleted from the system.

Note: During a container pick, the contain is picked in full and then deleted from the system.

1. A container is picked from the Picking form. If your division uses Containers, and you have access to Containers, a pick container option is available at this form.
2. Press the More Options icon to the right of the form title.

3. The Pick Container option appears.

4. Press the Pick Container option to reach the Pick Container form.

5. Site: the default site is automatically placed in this field. Change the site at the Site form, if applicable.
6. Container: enter the container that you want to pick.
7. Press Submit.
   1. The container must be fully picked to fulfill the order. It cannot be partially picked.
   2. A container with assets cannot be picked.

8. If the container may be fully picked to fulfill the order, the container pick is submitted and applied to the order.
9. The order is updated with the container pick and the container is deleted from the system.
10. If this container pick fulfills the order, you are returned to the Select Order form.
